After the press conference, I had the privilege of presenting my cookbook, A Taste of Tradition – Bohra Cuisine, to Hon. Mudrick Soraga, Zanzibar's Minister of Tourism and Culture. Recently published, this cookbook celebrates the culinary traditions of my community. It was a great honor to share my work in the presence of esteemed members of the press.
I also took the opportunity to briefly mention A Taste of Zanzibar, a project currently under revision and set to be published soon. This upcoming book highlights the vibrant flavors of Zanzibar, complementing efforts to showcase the region's rich cultural and culinary heritage.
